Privacy policy

This policy explains in plain language what personal information is handled when you visit rainbet-aus.co, why, for how long, and what rights you have. It is written to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and it is our APP 1 privacy policy.

1. Who we are

The entity responsible for personal information collected through this website is:

Rainbet Australia Editorial Team

Australia
E-mail: info@rainbet-aus.co

Privacy officer

APP 1 requires us to manage personal information openly and transparently and to have someone responsible for it. Privacy enquiries, access and correction requests and complaints are handled by:

Rainbet Australia Editorial Team
Reachable at info@rainbet-aus.co

We publish this policy free of charge on this page; on request we provide it in another accessible form.

2. What we collect

Server logs

When you open a page, our web server records technical connection data in its access log: your IP address, the date and time, the requested URL, the user agent (browser and operating system as reported by the browser) and, if your browser sends it, the referring page. This data is needed to deliver the site, detect faults and defend against abuse. It is not combined with any other data and is not used to identify you.

Server logs are kept for 52 days and then deleted automatically, unless a specific security incident requires a longer retention for its investigation (APP 11.2).

Local storage in your browser

This site sets no cookies for visitors. It stores three settings in your browser’s local storage, which stay on your device and are never sent to us:

  • rbauAge – remembers that you confirmed you are of legal age before an outbound redirect;
  • rbauMode – remembers whether the side menu shows the casino or the sports view;
  • rbauSideCollapsed – remembers whether the side menu is collapsed.

You can delete them at any time through your browser’s site-data settings; the site keeps working and simply forgets the preference. Details are in the cookie policy.

E-mails you send us

There is no contact form. If you write to us, we receive the information in your message – normally your e-mail address, the text and the technical sending data – and use it solely to handle your request. This is the only personal information we collect directly from you, and you decide what to include.

Once the request is closed and the retention period has passed, the correspondence is deleted or de-identified, unless a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute requires keeping it.

3. What we do not collect

  • No user accounts, no logins, no passwords for visitors.
  • No analytics or statistics service (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no tag manager).
  • No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no retargeting.
  • No sensitive information (health, financial details, identity documents) – please do not send any by e-mail.
  • No profiling and no automated decision-making about you.
  • No embedded third-party fonts, videos, maps or social-media buttons that would report your visit to someone else.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information – to the operator or to anyone else – and we do not use it for direct marketing (APP 7).

4. Why we collect it

We collect personal information only where it is reasonably necessary for our functions (APP 3) and use it only for the purpose it was collected for (APP 6):

  • Running the website – server logs are processed because a website cannot be delivered without them. The collection is limited to what a browser sends anyway, and you are informed of it here (APP 5).
  • Security – the same logs let us detect faults, block automated abuse and investigate attacks on the server.
  • Answering your enquiries – when you write to us, you provide your details voluntarily and we use them for the reply and, where needed, to correct the site. You may ask us at any time to delete the correspondence, subject to legal requirements.
  • Remembering your preferences – the local-storage settings are strictly necessary for the function you triggered (age confirmation, menu view) and never leave your device.

We do not use or disclose personal information for any secondary purpose unless you would reasonably expect it, you consent, or the law requires or authorises it.

5. Disclosure to service providers

This website runs on a rented server of an external hosting provider.

The hosting provider processes the connection data needed to deliver and secure the website (see the server-log section above). It acts on our instructions as a service provider and may not use that data for its own purposes.

Content delivery network and attack protection

The website is delivered through the content delivery network and security service of Cloudflare, Inc.
101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States
Privacy information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

This service may process your IP address, technical connection data and security signals in order to deliver content faster and to block automated abuse. It may set short-lived technical cookies for that purpose; see our cookie policy.

No other third party receives personal information from us. We disclose it only where the law requires it – for example to a law-enforcement agency with a valid legal basis.

6. Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)

Our hosting provider and, where one is used, the content delivery network may operate data centres outside Australia. The technical connection data described above may therefore be stored or processed overseas and may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with the APPs; where that is not possible, this notice tells you so in advance. We limit what is transferred to the connection data a web server needs, and our providers act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.

8. Access and correction (APP 12 and APP 13)

You have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you (APP 12) and learn how it has been used and to whom it was disclosed;
  • correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading (APP 13);
  • ask us to delete correspondence you sent us, where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected for;
  • deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym where that is practicable (APP 2) – an e-mail from an address that does not identify you is fine;
  • ask questions about, or challenge, our compliance with this policy.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@rainbet-aus.co. We respond within 30 days, free of charge, and may ask you to confirm your identity first. If we refuse a request we tell you why in writing and how to complain. Because we hold almost no personal information – in practice only server logs that we cannot match to a person, and e-mails you have sent us – most requests are answered by confirming that fact.

9. How to complain

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or handled your personal information incorrectly, please contact our privacy officer first at info@rainbet-aus.co so that we can put it right. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, or you do not hear from us within that time, you may complain to the national privacy regulator:

Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
Website: www.oaic.gov.au
Enquiries line: 1300 363 992

The OAIC can investigate the complaint, attempt conciliation and make a determination. Lodging a complaint with the OAIC is free.

10. Minors

This website is intended for adults only – 18 or older throughout Australia. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, tell us at info@rainbet-aus.co and we will delete it.

11. Security and data breaches

As APP 11 requires, we take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure – in particular encrypted transmission over HTTPS, access restricted to the people who need it, and automatic deletion of logs. Information we no longer need is destroyed or de-identified. Absolute security of data transmitted over the internet cannot be guaranteed.

Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme. If personal information we hold is lost or accessed or disclosed without authorisation and a reasonable person would conclude that this is likely to result in serious harm to the individuals concerned, we will assess the incident promptly (within 30 days at most), notify the affected individuals and the OAIC as the scheme requires, and take reasonable steps to contain the breach, reduce the risk of harm and prevent a recurrence.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the site’s functions, our service providers or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the one that applies. Last updated: 8 September 2026.
